What We Do
At Golden Egg Creative, we educate, entertain, and inspire through exhibit and experience design.
Designing Together as Practice
We view collaboration not as a phase of work, but as an ongoing practice. Our teams design with institutional partners, not for them—creating transparent, shared decision-making structures that support trust, clarity, and momentum.
-
Translating the big idea to groups of various abilities, ages, and demographics is at the core of experience design. Our team uses visitor research, community outreach, and inclusive interactivity strategies to develop the experience concept.
-
We lean on our architectural background to physically map the story, develop supporting drawings, and apply museum standards for lighting, messaging, signage, conservation, and case design. Coming from the museum world, we understand the importance of balancing aesthetic design with operations, maintenance, and durability.
-
We are passionate about cultivating positive learning experiences for all backgrounds, ages, and abilities. Through Universal Design for Learning strategies, we build personally meaningful pathways for individuals to create, reflect, share, and connect.
-
How will the story be spread and supported during the life of the exhibition? Translating educational material for those who will facilitate and support the exhibition is key to a successful experience. And finally, evaluation criteria, developed at the onset of the design, is important to uncover the highs and lows of the experience to create opportunities for subsequent installations.
